Cricket legends past and present teamed up with Northcott at the Sydney Cricket Ground for the Northcott Cricket Gala Dinner on 9 November 2017.

Alongside Master of Ceremonies, radio personality Matt de Groot, entertainment included Tony Dee who sang “Yes I Can” which was the theme of the 2016 Paralympics Campaign and featured in a UK Channel 4 promotional video.

The fundraising focus of the evening was for the Northcott Recreation service which provides social, sporting and recreational activities for children and adults with disability. This includes children like Charlotte who access speech and occupational therapy services and attended her first Northcott Athletics Carnival this year. These swimming and sporting carnivals are fully inclusive and Northcott is the only provider offering this service to children and adults of all ages with disability.

In support of these services, the event raised over $210,000.

The Charity Partner is Cricket NSW and the Major Sponsor is IT infrastructure solution provider Triforce Australia.

Other event sponsors included: Office Supplies Australia, Sydney Cricket Sports Ground Trust, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Cyclo Group, Ethan Group, Grant ThorntonNGO Recruitment and Western Earthmoving.
