In the particularly challenging environment brought by COVID-19, access to information and supports produces greater challenges for people with disability. This is why finding simple ways to access resources become very important.

The Department of Social Services (DSS) has put together a wide variety of resources on COVID-19 for people with disability. You can find this information on the Information and referrals for people with disability and their supporters about coronavirus (COVID-19) page.

Among other resources, you will find the details of the Disability Information Helpline you can call on 1800 643 787, a very complete list of Easy Read and Auslan resources, and a whole range of different organisations you can reach out to whether you have lost your job, are feeling worried or anxious, or if you are willing to help others.
