Our Team

Ashley – Occupational Therapist / Team Leader
As an Occupational Therapist, I enjoy the opportunity to partner with people on their journey through life – supporting clients to do the things they need, want, and love to do every day. My therapy approach is grounded in respect, curiosity, and collaboration, with a strong belief that meaningful participation looks different for everyone.
With experience working across the lifespan – from babies and toddlers to teens and adults – I bring a flexible, person-centred approach to every interaction. I have experience in supporting individuals with neurodevelopmental and neurodivergent profiles, as well as developmental delay, genetic and physical conditions.
Outside of work I like to go on outdoor adventures with my young family, exercising and going to new places.

Ashley – Occupational Therapist
I am originally from Canada and have several years’ experience as an occupational therapist both in Canada and here in Australia. As an Occupational Therapist, I enjoy working with clients using play and their favourite activities to engage in working towards their functional occupational therapy goals.
When I’m not at work, I love being outdoors, camping and gardening.

Teagan – Occupational Therapist
As an Occupational Therapist, I’m passionate about building strong, supportive relationships with children and their families. I take a collaborative, strengths-based approach, working closely with each child to create tailored strategies that reflect their unique needs and goals. I believe that safe and trusting connections are at the heart of effective therapy.
I have experience working with children across both early childhood and school-aged settings, supporting a wide range of developmental needs and diagnoses. My areas of focus include assistive technology prescription, developing school readiness skills, early childhood development, and promoting functional independence in everyday activities.
Outside of work I like to go to the beach, camping and baking yummy treats.

Shantara – Occupational Therapist
I am a dedicated Occupational Therapist who thrives on building strong, collaborative relationships with clients and their families, supporting them to achieve meaningful goals and build their independence.
I have experience with working with children and young adults with various intellectual and physical needs. My clinical interest areas are school readiness, play skills and developing independence with meal preparation and self-care tasks. I aim to make sessions fun, interactive, and tailored to each client’s unique strengths and needs.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors, spending time with friends and family, camping, or cooking in the kitchen.

Lindsay – Therapy Assistant
As a therapy assistant I love being able to have a positive impact on clients by providing a fun experience to always have something to look forward as well as supporting to achieve their goals. It is always rewarding experience watching clients progress and become the very best version of themselves! In my down time, I enjoy prioritising my health and fitness, and spending my days at the beach.
Outside of work I like to watch movies and go the beach.

Develop a range of practical skills
Build your skillset to open a new world of independent living including:
- Self-care skills such as toileting, dressing, showering and daily skills such as preparing food will enable you to tackle your daily routine with ease
- Improving fine motor skills to make tasks like tying shoelaces, handwriting, and using everyday objects possible
- Strategies for learning, problem solving and organisational skills to build confidence at school or in the workplace
- Development of play supports cognition, supports young children to enjoy creative play, and build a satisfying play repertoire
- Effective social skills are important for people of any age to build meaningful connections, make friends, take turns, and enjoy fulfilling relationships.
Move around different environments
We’ll work with you on mobility goals, so you can enjoy a more independent life and safely participate in daily tasks. This might include assessment, trial and recommendation for equipment – such as specialised seating, wheelchairs, commodes and hoists. We can also recommend changes to your environment that might help you – from minor changes like rails and ramps, to bathroom and vehicle modifications.
Create effective strategies to use every day
With the right strategies, you’ll be able to master many of the activities of daily living, and manage the way your senses might influence your behaviour. You’ll feel more confident when taking part in activities that matter most to you. This may be in your own home, school, the workplace or as an active member of the community.
Understand how you process information
By understanding how you process different sensory information – such as sound, touch, sight, taste and smell – you can learn useful strategies to manage sensory sensitivities in a variety of settings.
Get more time and support to achieve your goals
You can achieve your goals faster by working with an Allied Health Assistant (AHA). An AHA works under the guidance of your occupational therapist, supporting the program your therapist has created for you. The affordability of an AHA gives you more time to work on your goals. Our AHA’s are either qualified with a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistant, studying their undergraduate degree to become Allied Health Professionals, or both.
