Whether you’d like to create a space of your own, move in with friends or join a household and make new friends, Northcott offers a number of housing options designed to meet your personal needs and goals. 

Most Northcott houses require supported independent living (SIL) and specialist disability accommodation (SDA) funding. SIL refers to the support staff in your home, while SDA is the home itself. SDA is designed with a range of accessible features that allow you to live more independently and enables your supports to be delivered safely and effectively. 

Accessible housing that’s right for you

Our range of SIL and SDA disability accommodation across NSW includes units, single and shared villas, and shared houses. The SIL and SDA options allow you to enjoy all the benefits of independent living, while also giving you the support you need. This might include: 

• Support with household management 
• Personal care 
• Mealtime management and other supports you might need assistance with. 

Northcott can also support you with your personal shopping and attending medical appointments.

The Specialist Supported Living option gives you access to specialist nursing staff for people with more complex medical needs
