About The Role:

Join our team as a Casual Support Worker across our Skills 4 Life, Life Skills, Work & Study, and Adult Recreation Programs in Hornsby, North Rocks, and North Parramatta. Support our customers to build independence, achieve their goals, and enjoy meaningful community experiences.

Deliver engaging day-to-day programs and activities within our Day Program.
Facilitate and encourage participation in Skills 4 Life, Life Skills, Work & Study and Adult Recreation Program.
Support customers in developing new skills, building confidence, and maintaining their independence.
Provide respectful, person-centred support, including personal care where required.
Safely use manual handling techniques and equipment in accordance with training and best practice.
Build positive, empowering relationships that support customers in achieving their individual goals and reaching their full potential.

Skills & Experience:

You have a passion for and confidence in facilitating activities, and you enjoy inspiring and engaging others.

Here’s what will help you shine in this role:

Confidence in facilitating engaging group activities in Skills 4 Life, Life Skills, Work & Study and Adult Recreation Programs.
Can think creatively and adapt activities to engage customers.
Ability to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing situations.
Flexible availability to work on a rotating roster and across multiple sites.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident and comfortable driving a 12-seater van.
Empathy, reliability, and a genuine commitment to supporting people to live life their way.
