About The Role:

Turn your creativity into a meaningful career! Join Northcott as we look for passionate artists, musicians, singers, actors, drama facilitators, dancers, and other creatives to join our Day Program in Roselands.

  • Deliver engaging day-to-day creative programs and activities within our Day Program.
  • Facilitate and encourage participation in music, dance, drama, visual arts, crafts, and other creative experiences.
  • Support customers to develop new skills, build confidence, and maintain their independence.
  • Provide respectful, person-centred support, including personal care where required.
  • Safely use manual handling techniques and equipment in accordance with training and best practice.
  • Build positive, empowering relationships that support customers in achieving their individual goals and reaching their full potential.

Skills & Experience:

You have a passion for art, music, drama, dance, or another creative field and enjoy using your talents to inspire and engage others.

Here’s what will help you shine in this role:

  • Confidence in facilitating engaging group activities such as art, music, drama, or dance.
  • Can think creatively and adapt activities to engage customers.
  • Ability to think on your feet, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Flexible availability to work on a rotating roster.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, reliability, and a genuine commitment to supporting people to live life their way.
