We are looking for passionate Support Workers to join the team on a casual basis in Coffs Harbour to work across our accommodation sites. You will support people with disability to build independence, wellbeing, and community connection.

In this role, you will:

Support customers to develop skills and maintain independence.
Provide respectful, person-centred personal care (including toileting, dressing, showering, feeding, and medication support).
Use manual handling techniques and equipment safely and confidently.
Assist with mealtime management, household tasks (like cleaning and shopping), and community access.
Build positive, empowering relationships that help customers achieve their goals.

About You:

We are looking for someone who’s caring, adaptable, and ready to make a real difference every day. You don’t just see tasks — you see people, and you meet them where they are with empathy and respect.

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

A flexible approach to work — you are happy to work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepovers and weekends.
Minimum of 12 months’ disability sector experience. Applicants with lived experience of disability are strongly encouraged to apply and will be highly regarded.
Experience supporting participants with complex care needs, including catheter care, bowel care, and diabetes management.
Experience working in Supported Independent Living and providing personal care.
Experience in managing behaviours of concern, administering medication and manual handling.
The ability to stay calm, think quickly, and provide steady, confident support — even when things get challenging.
A positive attitude, a team spirit, and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their goals.
