Allied Health services for older Australians
Northcott offers trusted, high-quality Allied Health services designed to meet the complex and changing needs of older adults. We partner with aged care providers, Home Care Package coordinators, retirement villages, and health organisations to deliver goal-oriented support that promotes wellbeing, reablement, and independence for people aged 65+.
We can also support you or your loved one with health, comfort, and dignity every day. Your home is your haven and we’re here to support you to live safely and comfortably at home – on your own terms.
Who we support
People over the age of 65+ that are:
- Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) participants
- Home Care Package recipients (HCP)
- Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) card holders
- Self-funded
Organisations who hold the Commonwealth Home Support Programs (CHSP) grant
What we can provide support with:
- Staying active and maintaining physical strength and balance
- Supporting healthy mealtimes and nutrition
- Managing chronic health conditions and accessing the right services (e.g. My Aged Care, HCP, CHSP, HENs)
- Cognitive strategies and memory support
- Support with communication, swallowing and mealtime safety
- Building confidence to stay active and connected at home
- Safety and falls prevention planning
- Setting up your home to suit your changing needs, including environmental modifications (bathroom, entry, ramps)
- Access to equipment that supports mobility and independence
- Functional assessments and tailored advice

Individual assessments & interventions
Functional assessments, equipment prescription, mobility strategies, falls prevention, pain management, cognitive assessments, home modifications.
Client & carer education
Communication partner training, falls prevention, dementia care strategies, pressure care, and daily living adaptations.
Training for your team
Tailored sessions for residential or home care staff on topics such as mealtime safety, supporting clients with swallowing or communication difficulties, and managing responsive behaviours.
Group programs
Community-based groups such as hydrotherapy, aphasia communication groups, Parkinson’s programs, and
gentle exercise classes to
improve strength, balance, and social connection.
