Our Housing and Supported Independent Living services team offer a range of services that enable customers to live independently.

We offer shared housing and supports, individual housing and supports and supported living.

Our shared housing service allows customers to choose who they live with and how the supports in the home are structured.

What we can offer

Shared Housing

Our Shared Housing service, offers people with disability the choice in the housemates they wish to live with and how the supports are structured. This is a cost effective approach that includes 24/7 support.

Our fully accessible Shared Housing Service includes:

  • Rent
  • Utilities
  • Food
  • Assistance with daily personal supports
  • Accommodation-related community access (with specialised transport) such as shopping and medical appointments

Individual Housing

Individual Housing Services offers fully accessible, modified housing support to meet the needs of someone who wants to live independently but also requires daily drop-in support.

Our Individual Housing Service includes:

  • Rent
  • Utilities
  • Food
  • Assistance with daily personal supports
  • Accommodation-related community access (with specialised transport) such as shopping and medical appointments

Supported Living

For someone with disability who wishes to live in their own home we offer supported living which is flexible and under the control of the individual. This service focuses on capacity building and connection to the local community.

Our Supported Living Service includes:

  • Assistance with daily personal supports
  • Accommodation-related community access (with specialised transport) such as shopping and medical appointments

Additional funding information

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will use the following terms to describe the funding customers can use to purchase Housing and Supported Independent Living services:

  • Assistance with daily life at home, in the community, in education and at work
  • Improved daily living skills
  • Improved living arrangements
  • Supported independent living

We can also support customers if they have a different type of state or Australian government funding.

We will support our customers to identify the funding and services they are entitled to.
