Who are we?

The NDIS Partners in the Community Program (PITC) supports the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to be implemented locally.

As an NDIA partner, Northcott will deliver the NDIS Early Childhood Approach (ECA) service to local communities in Northern NSW, Mid North Coast, Hunter New England, North Sydney and Western Sydney. The EC approach supports the activities that will improve the independence and social participation of children aged 0-9 years with developmental delay and/or disability.

We are an enthusiastic team of early childhood professionals focusing on providing a high-quality, best-practice service within the NDIS partners in the community approach to children and families. This role is for a coordinator to work within the early support pathway.

The skills and experience we are looking for include: 

  • Minimum diploma tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education, Allied Health Professions or other relevant education/health professional field (new graduates encouraged to apply)
  • An understanding of early childhood development and the ability to use this knowledge to support & upskill families in an individualised way – one size does not fit all.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills & the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary, key worker framework to ensure holistic, quality early interventions for families
  • Experience providing support to families using a strengths-based coaching approach that values the child’s natural environment is desirable.
  • You will also write reports and provide details to the NDIA on a child’s developmental and functional abilities, so proficient use of a computer is essential

Other requirements include:

  • Current Driver's Licence - P1 minimum
  • Valid Working with Children’s Check Clearance.
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) or willingness to obtain.
  • Successful pre-employment police check.
