About the position
As a Therapy Assistant at Northcott you will deliver Occupational Therapy, Speech pathology & Physiotherapy programs to our clients under instruction and guidance of a qualified Allied Health Professional. Therapy programs will include individual and group therapy programs for clients, in an individual and family centred model of practice.

This position is offered on a casual basis, and is centred locally in Albury and the surrounding community. You will receive regular support from our Therapists in person and also remotely. Initially 1-2 days per week are available, however the hours on offer are envisaged to grow based on your capacity.

• Further your experience in the fast growing disability sector, whilst receiving ongoing and careful support from our Allied Health Professionals

Key Requirements

• Allied Health students currently studying an allied health degree (e.g. SP, OT, DT, PT) living locally, perhaps studying externally - or;
• Certificate IV in Allied Health, - or;
• Fully qualified and/or experienced Allied Health Assistant (min Cert III).
• Hold a valid WWCC, (NSW & VIC) and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module training.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Current drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and an understanding of the importance of professional boundaries and scope of practice.
