This exciting opportunity at North Parramatta is perfect for a passionate individual dedicated to helping people with disabilities build and search for careers.

Typical duties might include:

Assist our customers with employment goals, networking with employers on their behalf and organising work placements.
Empower the support staff to establish effective communication with customers using an individualized approach, using whatever means of communication is appropriate for each individual.
Implementing and reviewing Individual Program Plans.
Record the progress of each customer in line with relevant documentation.
Devise and facilitate program activities and workshops with customers and other support staff.
Support and actively encourage customer participation in decision-making about their program and service.

Essential Criteria:

Experience supporting customers and assisting people with disabilities to find jobs.
Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our unique customers.
Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with our customers and to support their individual care plans, including goals.
A current Driver's Licence and confidence to drive an accessible van.
NSW Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain
NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain
Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
