These are rewarding and challenging roles and flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster & previous experience will be an advantage.

The team, located on the Gold Coast, provides personal care but also works with each guest to make their stay as enjoyable as possible. Some customers want quiet time while others want to do all of the fun activities the Gold Coast offers!

Typical duties might include:

Supporting customers to develop and maintain independence and successfully achieve their individual goals.
Supporting customers with personal care including bowel care, manual handling using a variety of equipment and aids and other health and hygiene needs such as feeding, medication, dressing, toileting and showering.
Undertaking various household tasks including mealtime management, cleaning, shopping and other community access activities.

Essential Criteria:

Demonstrated commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs of our unique customers
Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with our customers and to support their individual care plans, including goals
Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster; you will be required to work across morning, afternoon and active night shifts, including weekend and public holiday shifts
Experience supporting customers with intellectual disability, high physical support needs and medical / health needs
A current Driver's Licence and confidence to drive an accessible van.
QLD Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain
NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain
Current First Aid and CPR certificate or willingness to obtain
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
