About the role

We are currently seeking  six individuals interested in casual employment to provide individual customer support in South West Sydney. 

Individual customer supports are 1:1 supports for people with disability aged 0 – 65. The successful applicants will support our customers to participate in social activities in their local communities and build independence to complete daily tasks in their own home. 

Ideally you will have:

  • Willingness to work multiple 2 hour shifts per day/week.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in disability, aged care or child care (highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated Epilepsy & Autism experience (highly valued) 
  • Demonstrated experience supporting challenging behaviours (highly valued)
  • Willingness to  support customers with personal care including toileting, showering and meal time assistance - required
  • Demonstrated experience supporting ageing customers (highly valued)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate - HLTAID001/HLTAID003 - required
  • National Police History Check less than 6 months old at time of commencement - required
  • Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) - required
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable car - required
  • NDIS Worker Orientation module certificate - required
