About the Role:

We are an NDIA Partner In The Community (PITC) and, as an ECEI Coordinator, you will provide personalised and dynamic supports to children & families. You will be part of a values-driven team who will optimise available supports for every child and family in a timely manner. We are seeking an ECEI Coordinator based in our Parramatta office who will deliver the NDIS planning and reporting process to children aged 0-6 with developmental delay and disability and their families. This role is aimed at shaping the most effective supports required based on detailed consideration of the evidence and practice of early childhood intervention.

As an ECEI Coordinator, you will have a desire to build rapport with families. You will need to have high emotional intelligence to deliver the best results in this role. 

You will:

  • Align at all times with Northcott's values as a Partner In The Community.
  • Undertake observations of a child in their natural environment to assess their functioning and support needs using supporting tools and documents within the NDIS IT system.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with local stakeholders including Early Childhood Education settings, mainstream and specialist services providing information and support to families with children with disability or development delays.
  • Seek to build the capacity of families and the community to work confidently and effectively with children with disability to meet each individual child's developmental needs.
  • Carry out administrative duties as required by Northcott including regular reporting against ECEI performance measures, monthly reports, funding reports and data collection to ensure contract compliance for the program.

Essential experience and/or qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Education, or relevant professional experience.
  • Experience providing family support and/or family therapy to families using a family focused and strengths based approach.
  • Proven ability to time manage & meet KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised & in a team.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and implementing Early Childhood intervention strategies with families using a capacity building approach.
  • Ability and willingness to be flexible in your approach with children and families.
  • Knowledge of the Disability Services Act & Standards.
  • Knowledge of the Child Protection Legislation and the principles of Keep Them Safe.
  • Current NSW Drivers' Licence (Please note reasonable adjustments will be made where applicable).
  • NSW Police Check - less than six months old.
  • NSW Working With Children Check.
