Develop the skills you need for employment

Gaining new skills is a great way to build your confidence, resilience and get work ready, and it’s even better when you’re learning in a fun, social environment with new friends.

If you’re aged 14-17 years, our Skills 4 Work program empowers you to develop a range of practical skills you can use every day. It runs in the afternoon after school during the school term, and in each session you’ll work on a new skill or take part in a different educational activity.

With over 10 years’ experience in vocational training programs, we offer learning environments tailored to your needs. Everyone has different learning styles – perhaps you learn visually or prefer a more hands-on approach. We’ll work with you to understand your skills and strengths, and then create a unique, flexible plan that supports the way you learn.

Whether it’s communicating and working with others, gaining work experience, or building your resume, enjoy the feeling of achievement that comes with learning work readiness skills.

Our team who run Skills 4 Work are passionate about employment outcomes and know how to make learning engaging and fun. You’ll discover your personal strengths and identify areas where you’d like to improve. As your abilities and confidence grow, you’ll feel motivated and inspired to set new goals and become ready to move into the workforce.
