Northcott’s values, purpose and history
Northcott is a not-for-profit disability service provider that provides people with disability the choice and opportunity to do it their way.
As one of Australia’s largest not-for-profit disability service organisations, we provide services from metropolitan and regional locations throughout NSW, QLD and the ACT. We have more than 90 years of experience and expertise in the disability service industry.
A registered NDIS provider, we employ over 3000 staff and provide empowering, personalised services to over 16,000 people with disability, their families and carers each year.

Our History
Northcott was established in 1929 by the Rotary Club of Sydney as the NSW Society for Crippled Children.
The Society was formed in response to the polio epidemic and provided services to children with tuberculosis, polio and other diseases who had been excluded from mainstream society.
Memberships and Accreditations
We comply with the NSW Disability Services Standards for Ageing, Disability and Home Care funded service providers and has been certified by BSI under certificate number 607749.
