The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has released pricing changes that come into effect on 1 July 2023.
Following are some of the main pricing changes that may apply to Northcott customers.
Disability Support Workers and Nursing Support
- The price limits for services delivered by disability support workers are increasing by 5.3%.
- The price limits for nursing support will also increase in line with the Wage Price Index and Consumer Price Index.
Northcott will be applying the price changes from 1 July 2023. To help manage these cost increases, the NDIA has committed to increasing participants funding from 1 July 2023.
Group and Individual Supports
- The Capital Loading cost for group services delivered at a Northcott centre is increasing to $2.44 per hour.
- The Base Group Rate for group services delivered at a Northcott centre is increasing to $66.45 per hour for a 1:1 ratio, and $33.23 per hour for a 1:2 ratio.
- The Base Individual Rate for Individual Services is increasing to $66.45 per hour.
- The Non-Face-to-Face Time charge is increasing to $4.20 per hour.
- The cost of Transport is not changing.

Therapy Supports
- There is no change to the price of Therapy.
Support Coordination
- The price for Support Coordination Level 1 is increasing to $74.63.
- There is no change to the price of Support Coordination Level 2 & Level 3.
These changes are based on the NDIS Pricing Arrangements that the NDIA released on 16 June 2023. Further details of the pricing changes can be found on the NDIS website.
