About the Opportunity – Project Officer, Northcott Innovation
This is a unique opportunity to help drive purpose-led innovation and meaningful outcomes for people with disability.
As Project Officer, you will:
- Support Northcott Innovation’s flagship project, NEST, a home-matching platform empowering people with disability to find the right place to live.
- Contribute to the design, coordination and evaluation of co-designed workshops.
- Assist with a variety of innovative initiatives through project coordination, content development, submissions, and funding proposals.
- Help shape and deliver real-world solutions through inclusive design and collaborative delivery.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who brings attention to detail, reliability, and a people-first mindset to everything they do.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage systems, documents, and processes efficiently.
- Clear and professional communication skills to liaise with a range of stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player who is organised, solutions-focused, and takes initiative.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in disability, social impact, or the not-for-profit sector.
- Tertiary qualifications in business administration, project support, or a related field.
What Your Week Might Look Like
- Providing administrative support across NEST and other Northcott Innovation projects.
- Coordinating meetings, workshops, and project timelines, including logistics and follow-up actions.
- Managing records, documentation, and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Supporting internal and external communications, including stakeholder updates and content coordination.
- Assisting with data entry, research, and the preparation of funding applications or project reports.
