About The Role

We are on the search for an experienced, dedicated and ambitious AIN who is passionate in providing high level care within our Specialised Supported Living setting in Liverpool. The line on offer is 67 hours per fortnight. Note that pay rate is determined by total hours worked as an AIN.

 

As an AIN, you will:

  • Deliver quality nursing care and support to a diverse range of unique customers, using a person centred approach
  • Promote improvement in quality of life and foster independence for people with disability
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene
  • Be committed to achieve valuable outcomes for our customers
  • Have highly developed communication skills and an understanding of specific needs

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have proven experience in the disability field, preferably within group home settings
  • Demonstrated experience in PEG feeding, stoma care, epilepsy management, challenging behaviours
  • Australian driver’s licence, and confidence to drive a 12 seater / wheelchair accessible van
  • Flexibility to work on a 24/7 rotating roster, including overnight, weekend and public holiday shifts
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent
  • NSW Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
  • Evidence of compliance with any Public Health Orders applicable at the time – including evidence of a COVID-19 vaccination or medical contraindication certificate if applicable to you.
