Going to concerts together
They recently went to a Jon Stevens concert and had a ball. When Kerrie and Cathy heard Jon Stevens was coming to their home town, they immediately knew they had to go. Their Northcott service coordinator supported them to organise the trip and away they went.
The pair went with Northcott support workers, Diane and Amanda, and they all had a fabulous time laughing and singing! Cathy says “We both loved it, and we laughed so much. Northcott supported us with this opportunity to go on the trip by giving us great support workers that supported our goal to visit concerts together!”
Kerrie explains she is so pleased that living in a Northcott house brought her and Kathy together. She says, “I am very happy at the Northcott house. It has brought me together with a lot of amazing people and support staff.”
This was the first time they had been to a concert together. Both women are looking forward to going to more concerts together in the future.
In fact, they are hoping to plan a trip to Sydney in February next year to see Ed Sheeran live!
