Join Us for the 2025 Mardi Gras Parade!

We are thrilled to share that Northcott, Afford, and Cerebral Palsy Alliance will once again be participating in the Mardi Gras Parade in 2025, with a joint float! The theme for this year is “Free to Fly,” which reflects the powerful message of equity: when we all have wings, we are all free to soar.

The Mardi Gras Festival runs from Friday, 14 February to Sunday, 2 March, with the iconic parade taking place on Saturday, 1 March on Oxford Street.

This event offers a wonderful opportunity to showcase Northcott’s commitment to inclusivity, celebrating the diversity of our customers and staff, particularly those who identify as LGBTQIA+. However, we need your support to make this happen!

Invitation to customers: Join our Mardi Gras float

Marching in the parade is a chance to connect, celebrate, and embrace individuality. We are inviting a limited number of customers (with support workers, where necessary) to join our float. Customers may be able to use NDIS funding for attendance.

This is an 18+ event held on Saturday, 1 March.

Help Us Get Creative!

We need your creative energy to bring our vision to life! If you’re based in the Parramatta area, we have two key events to prepare for the parade at our North Parramatta office:

Costume Creation Day – Calling all sewing enthusiasts!

Time: 10am – 2pm
