Our History

Northcott was established in 1929 by the Rotary Club of Sydney as the NSW Society for Crippled Children.

The Society was formed in response to the polio epidemic and provided services to children with tuberculosis, polio and other diseases who had been excluded from mainstream society.

Our resident librarian and Northcott historian, Judi Lipp, can be contacted if you would like to learn more about our history. Please email northcott@northcott.com.au or phone 1800 818 826 to chat with Judi.
