Give for the future
When you leave a gift to Northcott in your Will you enable us to commit to long-term creative and dynamic support for children and adults with disability.
You will be offering a lasting legacy that ensures the security and sustainability of our services, whilst also allowing us to be innovative in discovering ground-breaking solutions to ongoing barriers preventing us from meeting needs.
Former Northcott employee Jean Pitkin has generously decided to leave a gift to us in her will.
"What I remember most about the families, is the courage of all the children with disabilities and the dedication of their parents in wanting to ensure a better future for their children, with the help of the committed staff at Northcott," she said.
"Children are the future of Australia, and your bequest to Northcott will ensure that children with disabilities become truly valued members of our society.”
A gift to Northcott in your Will can be in the form of money, real estate, a percentage of the residue of your estate, or something personal such as jewellery or a painting.
We encourage you to speak with a solicitor and discuss your plans with your family if you would like to leave a gift in your Will to Northcott.
We recommend you include the following wording in your Will:
“I give and bequeath to Northcott [ABN 87 302 064 152] (a percentage or specific share) of the residue of my estate; or (a set dollar amount); or (specific item of value) for general use and I declare that the receipt of the Company Secretary or other authorised officer shall be sufficient discharge to my trustees for the said bequest."
