We proudly invite students to apply for one or more of the scholarships below. Scholarships are available each year to provide financial support associated with further education.
Gregory and Dolores Farrell Scholarship
The Gregory and Dolores Farrell Scholarships are administered by the SpineCare Foundation (a subsidiary of Northcott) and are open to students who:
- use a wheelchair as a primary form of mobility;
- are Australian citizens; and
- have been accepted into, or a currently enrolled, in a university course in NSW.
Students may be studying either full or part time, and may be proceeding to a higher degree in Australia or overseas. The scholarship assists with expenses such as textbooks, accommodation, field trips, stationery and university travel.
In 2018, five Gregory and Dolores Farrell Scholarships of up to $5,000 each were awarded in NSW. Existing scholarship recipients are undertaking Bachelor Degrees in Primary Teaching, Exercise and Sports Science, Digital Media and Business, as well as a Graduate Diploma (Auslan-English). Applications for the 2019 Gregory and Dolores Farrell Scholarships are now open and close 28 January 2019. Successful applicants will be notified prior to 28 February 2019.
Thomas Hepburn Lennox Scholarship
The Thomas Hepburn Lennox Scholarships are administered by Northcott and are open to students who;
- have physical disability
- are past or present Northcott customer; and
- have been accepted into, or a currently enrolled in, a TAFE or university course.
The scholarship may assist with expenses such as textbooks, accommodation, field trips, stationery and university travel.
In 2018, 8 Thomas Hepburn Lennox Scholarships were awarded. These consisted of $2000 each for university students and $1000 each for TAFE students. Existing scholarship recipients are undertaking study in the fields of Graphic Design, Information Technology, Nursing, Medical Science and Business.
Applications for 2019 Thomas Hepburn Lennox Scholarships closed 23 November 2018. Successful applicants will be notified prior to 31 December 2018.

Wendy Hall Scholarship
The Wendy Hall Scholarships are administered by Northcott and are open to all NSW students with disability to access accredited tertiary education, such as courses offered through TAFE or university.
Priority is given to students who:
- are from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background;
- are from a culturally or linguistically diverse background; or
- are from a rural or remote area.
The scholarship funds may be used to pay for textbooks, library and internet charges, on campus accommodation, transport, stationery, computer equipment, personal care and other related expenses.
Two Wendy Hall Scholarships will be offered in 2019 up to the amount of $3000. Applications are now open. Closing date for applications is Friday 8 February 2019. Please click here for the application form and recipient guidelines
