Michael was born with Spina Bifida, which means that his spinal cord is exposed through a gap in his backbone. This makes it difficult for him to get around on his own. To help, he uses a wheelchair and has a back brace he wears. Michael will need a lifetime of support, but through his family’s partnership with Northcott he will have the best start to life.
