Empower children and adults with disability to reach their potential and have fun while doing it

You can organise your own fundraising event to raise much needed funds for us or you can take part in another fundraising event like the City2Surf or Blackmores Running Festival!

Create your own fundraising event

Whether it’s a trivia night, dress up disco, charity auction, raffle, garage sale or something completely outside the box– we can give you tips and support to run your own event.

We can work with you to make your event a success by giving you handy hints, materials, ideas and budget guidelines

The money you raise at your event will give us the opportunity to deliver more essential services to children and adults with disability.

What is Drive4Life?

Drive 4 Life is a zero profit fundraising organisation which is currently raising funds for Northcott – an organisation which provides a wide range of services to people with disability. They are based in Parramatta and operate in NSW and the ACT.

D4L has been operating since 2006 and has raised over $800,000. The funds are raised by taking people in their own, ordinary 4 wheel drive vehicles to places that they would not otherwise visit because they have no one to go with or they may not have the navigational experience. The Tours are either 5, 6 or 14 day’s duration depending on the area being toured. Participants in the 5 and 6 day tour are asked to make a tax deductible donation of $1000 per vehicle directly to Northcott’s bank account. The 14 day tours request a $1500 donation.

The Tours visit the Victorian High Country, Flinders Ranges and Corner Country, the Simpson Desert and the Kimberley (14 day tour).

Every cent of their donation goes to Northcott. All operating expenses are covered by sponsorship funds from ARB 4 X 4 Accessories, IGA Supermarkets and 4 X 4 Australia Magazine.

Every vehicle that accompanies the Tour donates $1000, this includes Group Leader vehicles (there 2 to each group) media vehicles and organisers’ vehicles.

What's happening in 2019?

There will be two Tours this year. The first will be in the Victorian High Country between April 28 and May 3. The second will be in the Flinders Ranges and Corner Country between September 1 and September 8 – this Tour will start and finish in Broken Hill. Participants will be asked to make a $1000 donation to Northcott for each Tour. If they decide to do both then they will only be asked for $1500 for the two tours.

Victorian High Country –April 28 to May 3, 2019
This year, because we have two tours scheduled, we are offering this tour with a limit of twenty vehicles split into two groups of ten. We will not have the ability to accommodate vehicles with trailers on this tour. For full details please visit our website at: www.drive4life.com.au. Full details and Booking Forms can be accessed there.

Flinders Ranges and Corner Country – September 1 to September 8, 2019
This Tour will start and finish in Broken Hill. The Tour will be open to 4 wheel drives, 4 wheel drives with trailers and for the first time, to all wheel drive vehicles which do not have low range transmissions. The all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicles will see all that the 4 wheel drive vehicles will see with the exception of a 4 hour tour on a private property as they do not have low range and lack the ground clearance required to avoid underbody damage. The only mandatory equipment requirement for AWD vehicles is that they have All-terrain tyres and a fitted, 5 watt UHF radio with external antenna.

This tour is open to up to 40 vehicles.

For full details please visit our website at: www.drive4life.com.au. Full details and Booking Forms can be accessed there.
