
In-home and Community Supports
Our In-Home and Community Support Service supports children and adults with disability to:
- Be independent
- Be part of their community
- Receive support with meal preparation and domestic chores
- Be assisted to attend appointments or recreational events
- Receive overnight support
- Be assisted to spend time with friends
Our service is all about increasing our customers independence so they can reach their potential. Our customers might like to take part in social activities, attend appointments or simply require some assistance at home.
We can assist our customers and their families to have time to themselves, independent of each other.
Additional funding information
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will use the following terms to describe the funding you can use to purchase In-Home and Community Supports:
- Assistance with daily life at home, in the community, in education or at work
- Improved daily living skills
- Improved living arrangements
- Improved relationships
- Increased social and community participation
We can also support our customers if they have a different type of state or Australian government funding.
We will support our customers to identify the funding and services they are entitled to

What we can offer
Our qualified, accredited and committed team offer support in two ways:
In-Home Support
The focus of our team is to provide our customers with assistance for everyday activities in their own home such as:
- Caring for a customer whilst their carer is otherwise occupied
- Caring for a customer overnight
- Active awake night care
- Assistance with recreational activities/interests
- Assistance with home work
- Assistance with meal preparation
- Basic domestic chore support
In-Community Support
We provide our customers with assistance for everyday activities when they need to leave their home. Our staff can:
- Take customers shopping
- Assist customers to attend community events
- Support customers to access recreational activities such as a concert or gallery
- Enable customers to attend appointments
- Help customers access other programs (swimming club, sports, or another disability service provider)
We can also accompany our customers when they are on holiday to provide support you whilst they are away.
