New NDIS Price Guide
Dear customer,
Thank you for choosing Northcott as your NDIS service provider.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) released its new price guide for 2019 on Wednesday 26 June 2019. The new guide includes cost changes for therapy and how they will be charged to your NDIS plan.
What has changed?
The NDIS have removed a number of support items in the NDIS Price Guide and replaced them with new support items with different names. These include:
- Assistance With Self-Care Activities – Complex
- Access Community, Social And Rec Activities – Ratio 1:1- Complex
Rates per hour for support items have also changed.
What will happen next?
Northcott has removed the old support items, replaced them with the new support items and has updated hourly rates from NDIS Price Guide, shown in the table below.

What will happen to your current services scheduled with Northcott?
You will continue to receive your supports, they will simply now be provided under the new NDIS support item number.
Your statements and invoices will show the new support item numbers.
When do the changes start?
The new NDIS support items will be used from 1 July 2019.
How will these charges impact your NDIS Plan?
As a result of the NDIS pricing increases, we may need to review your Northcott service agreement and request a review of your NDIS plan. Your account manager will monitor your funding and be in contact with you to discuss any changes. They will support you each step of the way and advise you if a new service agreement is required.
