Much loved Central Coast Mariners soccer team extend opportunity to fans with disability

Last month, five Northcott customers from Wyong were supported to take part in a Mariners school holiday coaching clinic at the Mariners Centre of Excellence, based in Tuggerah.

They also:

  • got to enjoy a special meet and greet opportunity with the entire Mariners team;
  • had the opportunity to participate in rounds of various ball play activities;
  • enjoyed engaging in each activity and
  • loved getting their group photo taken with the Mariners team, and having an object signed by the team during a signing session.

The lovely Mariners Community Manager, Carly Carmichael, also organised for us to have an extra shirt signed by the team, which will be used to help raise funds for Northcott’s customer services.

Carly also supported Northcott customers by offering them a generous discount and ensuring the coaches were aware of our group and the various special needs of the children.

Carly and her team also allowed our staff to join the children on the field during the sessions, so they had extra support.

In the past, the Mariners have given Northcott free game tickets for customers and their organisation continues to work in partnership with us to support people with disability, their families and carers.

Thanks Mariners!
