Local Cafe adds iPad menu for easy accessibility

A cafe in Sydney used its FundAbility grant for a project which introduced accessible communication methods into the café environment. The funds were used to purchase iPads which were installed with digital menus in both graphics and text, and a variety of languages. Orders can then be sent straight to the customer service team electronically, allowing people with disability to communicate with ease.

The café staff also received training on inclusive practices for people with disability. This project allowed the café to break down communication barriers, creating a more inclusive environment for all patrons.
