Join us at Mardi Gras’ Fair Day, a fun carnival of rainbow festivities including performances, music, dancing, food stalls and much more!

Pulse (Movie) at Mardi Gras Film Festival

“Pulse is a unique Australian speculative drama that shows a gay teenager’s hunger for love and belonging with conviction and honesty.” – Queer Screen

Pulse’s leading actor Daniel Monks (who also wrote and produced the film) has a physical disability and is our 2018 Mardi Gras float ambassador.

Out of pocket cost: $19 movie ticket (concession tickets also available)
Support worker cost*: $9.63
Meeting place: Westmead Train Station – Railway Parade, outside Michelle’s Patisserie.

* Support worker costs is to cover the cost of staff entry into venues and use of public transport. Depending on the event this may be invoiced to you or payable on the day. In the event that there are adequate companion cards this fee will be reduced or waived.

Things to remember: If the event is a ticketed event, you will be invoiced the cost of the ticket. The invoice for your ticket will need to be paid for before we can purchase them. If you are unable to attend after tickets have been purchased you will still be responsible for the cost. All NDIS costs are based off the Standard needs ratio 1 staff-3 participants unless stated otherwise. If you require a higher level of support please contact us for a customised quote. Prices are based off the current price guide and are subject to change. Minimum numbers: please be aware that all events need a minimum of 6 to run an event.

A note about cancellations
Cancellation fees – The following notice periods are required for cancellation of attendance at our events:

  • Ticketed events: Once tickets have been purchased you will be responsible to cover the cost of the ticket/entry fee.
  • Other: 24 hours

We will take all reasonable efforts to fill cancelled places; however the full charge may apply if this is not possible. Please call 1800 818 286 to cancel any bookings.
