Cudgen Headland Surf Lifesaving Club

To ensure everyone is able to enjoy a day of fun in the sun, Cudgen Headland Surf Lifesaving Club on the Far North Coast of NSW used their FundAbility grant to purchase beach access matting. This matting provides access to the beach for people with disability who have mobility concerns. The beach matting is rolled out each day over the NSW and QLD school holidays, along with every weekend over the patrol season.

Staff at the club have been trained in how to roll out the matting and the club also has an accessible wheelchair available.
