About The Role

This is no ordinary role. We are looking for the right candidate to lead our brand new Intake team. We are flexible around where you are based in any of our 4 regions - Western Sydney, Hunter New England, Mid North Coast or Northern NSW.

As a newly-created stream of Northcott’s successful Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Partnership with the NDIS, we are looking for a dynamic individual to lead a team of equally talented ECEI professionals. This role is not just about crunching numbers and paperwork. We need a driven individual to:

  • Manage people, negotiate and find best-fit solutions
  • Demonstrate initiative and thrive off a customer service approach
  • Be responsive and innovative to change, not only internally but externally and remotely with respect to each situation
  • Demonstrate bravery in the face of criticism and feedback, acknowledging problems and responding respectfully with timely advice

What’s involved as the ECEI Intake Manager:

The NDIS ECEI approach supports activities that will improve independence and social participation of children with disability or developmental delay aged 0-6 years across local communities in Northern NSW, Mid North Coast, Hunter New England and Western Sydney. The ECEI Intake Manager will have the following objectives:

  • Motivate and lead a team of ECEI professionals to complete the intake process across all Northcott ECEI regions
  • Lead and foster positive team culture amongst a highly remote team
  • Facilitate collaboration between Northcott and NDIA stakeholders to ensure delivery of the ECEI intake process
  • Oversee development of operational policies and procedures to support the team in achieving KPIs and performance objectives

 

Sound interesting? What essential experience and skills do we need from you?

To be considered for this highly sought-after role, we will need to see:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business or other related field AND/OR extensive experience in business management or similar
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a team against KPI’s
  • Experience ensuring customers are satisfied while still meeting business objectives
  • Experience managing/leading a geographically dispersed and highly mobile team.
  • Proven previous experience meeting and exceeding set KPI’s
  • Strong communications skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check & NSW Working with Children

Either lived experience of disability or knowledge of the disability sector is highly desirable.
