    Northcott is recruiting for Casual Support Workers in Hillsdale, Rosebery and in the community of the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. We will train the successful candidates who demonstrate passion for the job, competency in their experience and genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for our customers.

    Your day to day duties will include (but are not limited to):

    • Using initiative and communicating in the most appropriate means possible
    • Engaging with customers, taking into account their wishes in all matters around their care as well as WH&S and your duty of care to them.
    • Utilising a person-centred approach at all times. 
    • Supporting and actively encouraging the customer's participation in decision making, allowing them choice and control to help them reach their goals.
    • Supporting a varied customer base. 

    Attributes and experience you will need: 

    This role requires dedicated support workers who take pride in their work, ensuring person-centred practices are followed at all times. We are looking for the following:

    • 12 months or more experience in the disability sector 
    • Reliable and flexible availability for shifts to meet customer needs
    • A positive attitude and proactive approach to supporting our customers
    • Experience in supporting customers with a range of disabilities
    • Willingness to travel to shifts
    • Drivers licence essential
