We are a leading disability services provider in NSW and the ACT, providing services and support for people with disability, and to their families and carers.

At Northcott Therapy you will gain valuable experience from managing a varied clinical caseload. You will provide support to customers from a range of backgrounds and with a range of conditions such as acquired and congenital degenerative disorders/diseases, autism, global developmental delay, physical disability, intellectual disability and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Based in the locations mentioned above and reporting to the Team Lead or Service Manager you will provide timely, evidence based and person-centred therapy services to children and adults, within a multidisciplinary team.

About you:

  • Genuine interest and commitment to the human services industry
  • An understanding of NDIS is desirable
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload in an efficient and effective manner
  • Tertiary qualifications in relevant allied health field (Speech Pathology/Occupational Therapy) 
  • Registration with AHPRA or Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience working with children, young people and adults with disability is desirable:
  • An understanding of assessments and interventions within the scope of your practice
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to drive within the region
  • National Police Check less than 6 months old, or willingness to obtain
  • NSW Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
  • Current first aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain

As part of the New Graduate Team you will:

  • Provide all aspects of therapy services to children, young people, and adults with a range of conditions.
  • Be supported by our senior clinicians to provide best practice therapy services in an NDIS environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to upskill in disability services.
  • Be part of a larger multidisciplinary team of approximately 70 therapists across NSW/ACT.
  • Provide intervention in a variety of locations such as in our clinics, schools/preschools, in-home, group homes, via telehealth or at day programs. These may be delivered on an individual, group or consultative basis.
  • Be an active member of our new graduate support network.
