About the role:                      

Northcott is currently seeking a Frontline Worker Supervisor to work within the Wollongong region. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic frontline worker team, supervising and mentoring support workers to provide the best possible care to Northcott customers. You will uphold high quality standards in service delivery, promoting consistency and achieving customer satisfaction. Along with upholding high standards, you will actively embrace Northcott's values and have a passion for supporting our customers in reaching their goals. 

You will:

  • Ensure all support workers are adequately supported and trained to deliver high quality service to customers in line with Northcott policies and procedures.
  • Offer support to other departments within Northcott to ensure customers are satisfied with the services they are receiving.
  • You will enjoy taking on responsibility, thrive in challenging environments and enjoy being innovative and proactive in the pursuit of building the Northcott brand
  • Be available to work varied hours each week including 8am-4pm and 9am – 5pm and once a month work 2.00pm -8.30pm to support and mentor support workers.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • You have current first aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain)
  • A NSW Working With Children Check  (or willingness to obtain)
  • Police Check less than 6 months old (or willingness to obtain)
  • Computer literacy, in particular proficiency with Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to train and mentor staff to provide exceptional customer service and achieve set KPIs
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Ability to write clear and concise business communications
  • An understanding of quality assurance and quality control measures
  • Lived experience, knowledge or understanding of the National Disability Services Standards & National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
