About the role:

Northcott is seeking a competent Senior Systems Administrator to play a key role in the ICT team. You will be responsible for managing the upkeep and the delivery of a simple, robust, agile and secure ICT environment.

You will be involved in:

  • Multiple projects - Assist in the build and implementation of new server technologies.
  • Maintenance and constant improvement of the organisation's ICT systems and network systems.
  • Work closely with the rest of the ICT team and MSP, ISP and other related vendors and consultants.

 

About you:

Minimum 3 to 5 years experience working in a Systems Administrator role

Team Player & Leadership:

  • Able to lead in the absence of the senior manager while you mentor, help and train junior staff.
  • Be flexible and work independently and in a team environment

Problem Solver & Technical Knowledge:

  • Can use initiative and creativity in terms of providing suitable ICT solutions
  • Able to work in a hybrid cloud environment.
  • Apply a thorough understanding of ICT policy, procedures, timeframes and quality standards

Time management Skills:

  • Responsive to daily requests from internal stakeholders.
  • Meets scheduled timeframes as per the ICT quality standards
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly

Willing to undertake:

  • Police Check
  • Working With Children Check

 

Knowledge, skills and abilities required for this role:

  1. High level Windows Server Administration skills including Active Directory, ADFS, SSO & Group Policy Management
  2. High level experience installing, managing and maintaining MS Servers 2012 & 2016 and MS Exchange environments
  3. Demonstrated experience with O365 & Citrix
  4. Experience of LAN/WAN networking skills
  5. Build and continuously manage the Windows 10 SOE environment
  6. Administer Storage Systems/ San Administration.
  7. Desirable knowledge of Microsoft Identity Management (MIM)
  8. Providing a high level of customer service while dealing with internal stakeholders.
  9. Effective verbal/written communication and customer service skills
